⚠ Important:
With the release of Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) 1.6.0, SUSE is informing customers that RKE1 will be maintained for only two more versions after 1.6.0. Please note that RKE1 reached the end of its lifecycle on July 31, 2025 and is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Therefore, it is recommended to migrate to AnyCloudK8s as soon as possible.

Database BackupWith the data backup service for databases (database backup), Inventx backs up the customer's databases with the goal that databases can be restored in the event of an IT disaster, data loss, or data error. MS-SQLThe databases are backed up via the Backup Service's service agent; this agent service is registered with gMSA. The gMSA is generated dedicated for each PaaS instance and has the necessary permissions on the MS-SQL instance according to the manufacturer. PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDBThe databases are backed up to an NFS share of the Backup Service. The Backup Service triggers the backup functions of the database instance remotely via SSH. The backup is performed to a dedicated directory of the NFS share. |
